Illustration, Drawing, Design
I like to visualize ideas, especially with the help of lucky accidents that change a plan for the better. I love the transition when something previously invisible gets a shape and becomes visible; or when something ´real´ becomes another and related kind of real. I like to use digital and analogue methods.
I regularly illustrate the website of the storytelling program Echt gebeurd in Amsterdam. Other recent commissions include a set of layout drawings for the website of Crápa Mangia, a set of botanical drawings for the Cornwell Lab at the University of New South Wales in Sydney, a medical illustration for Centrum Hyperthermie in Amsterdam, a flyer for a group event by Reis van een Held, a chocolate wrapper for the Echt gebeurd Gala, a poster and catalogue cover design for an exhibition of a Group Atelier in the Oranjekerk in Amsterdam and an illustration of the Christmas card of Berlin based Madame Design.
Production, Translation, editing

I have worked for Goethe Institute Amsterdam, Dille & Kamille, ZDF, RepublicaModa, Albelli Fotobücher, Greenpeace and the Museum for Gegenwartskunst in Siegen, Germany.
